The Best Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls

📋 Ingredients:
For Dough:

1 cup (240g) active sourdough starter (fed & bubbly)

1 cup (240ml) warm milk
-
1/3 cup (70g) sugar
-
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter (softened)

2 large eggs (room temp)

4 1/2 cups (540g) all-purpose flour
-
1 tsp salt
For Cinnamon Filling:

1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter (softened)
-
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
-
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Cream Cheese Frosting:
-
4 oz (115g) cream cheese (softened)
-
1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter (softened)
-
1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
-
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt
🥣 Instructions:
Step 1: Make the Dough

Ek large bowl mein sourdough starter, warm milk, sugar, butter aur eggs daal kar whisk karein.

Ab flour aur salt daal kar soft dough banayein.

Dough ko 8–10 minutes tak knead karein jab tak smooth aur elastic na ho jaye.
Step 2: First Rise (Bulk Fermentation)

Dough ko lightly oiled bowl mein rakh kar cover karein.

Room temp par 8–12 hours (overnight) rise hone dein jab tak double ho jaye.
Step 3: Roll & Fill

Dough ko floured surface par 12×18 inch rectangle mein roll karein.

Upar soft butter spread karein, phir brown sugar + cinnamon mixture evenly chhidak dein.

Tight roll banayein aur 12 equal slices cut karein.
Step 4: Second Rise
-
Rolls ko greased baking dish mein arrange karein (thoda gap rakhein).

Cover karke 2–3 hours rise hone dein jab tak fluffy aur double ho jayein.
Step 5: Bake

Oven ko 350°F (175°C) par preheat karein.

Rolls ko 30–35 minutes bake karein jab tak golden brown ho jayein.

Step 6: Frosting

Cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla aur pinch salt ko smooth aur creamy beat karein.

Warm rolls ke upar frosting spread karein.
